[ The dressing room has a vase with your team's flowers inside, a big mirror, clothes racks, chairs for sitting and doing make-up in— the usual. However, at the back of the dressing room there is a large LED screen TV, that has RULES displayed.

Beneath that, there are touch-screen buttons for each team. It will ask you to confirm your vote before putting it through.

There's also an intercom option, to ask questions. ]

-If a team votes for an incorrect team, they will punished for failure to obey the rules by being given a new rule to obey.

If it's popularity, Sakura or Marigold might be it since they win a lot. Haah... I guess voting for ourselves is moot though.

Though that's just as likely to make them unpopular, isn't it? depending on who's standards we're meant to be judging on.

But voting on ourselves doesn't guarantee any team will vote on us either, so would that be considered a wasted vote?

Quite possibly. Who would vote for us, after all?

Mm... [Marigold, maybe-- but then again their alliance is Hemlock, so they'd probably help them instead.]

Well, we're gonna have to pick some team somehow. Man, I hate these blind choices.

They're nonsensical, they set us up to fail. I suppose we could choose a team at random, but our chances of getting it wrong either way are just as high.

[hardashell]

Well... then, which team do we want to win the most? Us or someone else? We'd have to consider which is riskier.

[ofobedience]

Well. If it was another team besides ours I'd want it to be aconite. But this isn't about what I want. Hahah. Perhaps we ought to risk voting for ourselves. Or Marigold, if you're thinking of your friend.

[hardashell]

Hmm... if Hemlock and Marigold are helping each other out, then I'd say either of them have a better chance of getting at least two votes. I don't think the chances of anyone voting for us is that high, unless you guys have friends who would do so... but I don't really want to vote another team without certainty either.

[ofobedience]

I doubt anyone else will vote for us, in all honesty. Aconite, I think, have a fair chance of gaining several votes, due to their friendships with other teams. Or as you say, Hemlock and Marigold. I believe Sakura has alliances, too...

[he shrugs, exhales]

Really, they're all just as likely or unlikely as the other. As I say, we can pick Marigold, if you want to. I don't have any particularly strong objections.

[he may have the lingering feeling that both Sakura and Marigold could lose votes simply because they tend to win often, but it seems just as possible that the opposite could happen]

[hardashell]

I'm not sure, because if it's friendship-- both Marigold and Hemlock have people from my world.

Buuut... Let's go with Aconite. I wanna consider your decision more, since you were here longest. If they win, then it'll be good, right?

[ofobedience]

[tilts his head, just a little]

Aconite is the team I would go for, but my being here the longest doesn't mean my decisions will be any better than anyone else's. We can go with Aconite, if you're sure, and the others agree. But don't think that you can't disagree with me.

[hardashell]

It's nothing like that! I just want to respect your decision more. You know, since the chances are equal no matter who we vote, I want to choose what you do.

[Feeling at a distinct disadvantage since she doesn't know team reputations] Are we not a popular team?

I don't know if we are or not, but I figure those who win a lot might be more popular?

[And they win. A lot.]

That makes sense if most games are popularity based... Marigold was nice enough to give us a place to stay, and I've met some people on Sakura that seem sweet, so I'd be for those choices.

[hardashell]

I'm not too familiar with most of either team, but I have friends from home in Marigold and Hemlock. I'm pretty sure they'll either help each other or themselves out though.

More a team others don't notice, I think.

[But Giovanni had a skewed perspective. He's on this team, therefore they're more forgettable? Who knows with him]

[...FROWNS] Then maybe I should get out and make more friends.

I suppose it's a balance. The more friends we have the more support we have in some games, and the more liabilities in others. It's harder to win if you're forced to compete against people you love.

… I don't get it. Isn't this just a guessing game?

Basically, yes.

Well ... my first thought was that since nobody has a vote right now, there's really no such thing as an incorrect vote. But. [ She purses her lips. ] Ugh, these rules just don't make sense.

Who do you want to vote for?

[ofobedience]

I'd be inclined to vote for Aconite, due to friendships on that team. But that's a decision based on feelings rather than practicality. From a practical standpoint...well. It'd be hard to know who'll end up with the most votes due to the complications of alliances...

[there's a beat, and then...]

I find it doubtful that we'll end up with the most votes, however, so voting for ourselves is probably worthless.

[ That's an odd thing to say, and she's not sure she likes it all that much. ]

It's not like Larkspur is unpopular, right?

Not unpopular, perhaps. Just...forgettable, perhaps.

Well...most of you are still quite new, so wouldn't have had time to form the kinds of bonds that exist between some others here, perhaps.

[and he considers himself entirely forgettable obvs]

But you're here, and plenty of people know you! Know you, and like you.

[ She sets her hands on her hips. ]

It's one thing to vote to help our friends, but we shouldn't write ourselves off so easily. We've got as good a chance as anybody else.

Oh, people know me. But they have stronger connections to other people here. I think, in general, we're a relatively low priority team. It's only that, logistically, our chances are lower than some of the others. Through alliances, and the like.

[he shrugs]

I'm not against voting for ourselves. It just seems doubtful that anyone else will, and we want to pick a team with a high chance of having the most votes.
