[ The dressing room has a vase with your team's flowers inside, a big mirror, clothes racks, chairs for sitting and doing make-up in— the usual. However, at the back of the dressing room there is a large LED screen TV, that has RULES displayed.

Beneath that, there are touch-screen buttons for each team. It will ask you to confirm your vote before putting it through.

There's also an intercom option, to ask questions. ]

[ . . . . ]

Not a popular vote, but rather, trying to predict who would vote for others. . . I see.

[ thoughtful for a moment more, before: ]

Hemlock or Marigold will most certainly get votes from the other—but aside from that, who would be voted for. . .

[ falling quiet again, eyes hard as he stares a hole into the ground in thought ]

[ hey who's that behind you tapping at your shoulder

jk she's not looking if he turns around, but she holds up a notebook with "this is dependent upon what the voting concerns" written in, in neat handwriting ]

[ takes it back, writes some more,

"If it's a matter of fondness, then we would be best suited to vote for Marigold, as many of their members have acquaintances elsewhere." ]

[ look at least you know she stayed with someone last night

anyway,

"If that is not the case, however, then the proper choice becomes more variable. As no mention was made of the sort of voting within the rules we may assume that you were correct in your assumption. Regardless, I'm uncertain that we may trust others to vote for us, thus we would do best to refrain from voting for ourselves." ]

Ah -

[ well she's not expecting it so it's easy to snatch. the pen just clatters to the floor in her surprise, but otherwise nothing happens. she doesn't look up. ]

[ flinches away from him him almost - kind of violently in its forcefulness? - teeth grit, hands balled tightly into fists

... and then she turns around, moving to sit at a chair on the opposite side of the dressing room, back to him. ]

[personal profile] counterfaith 2017-10-22 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
And what does a punishment entail, exactly?

[personal profile] unaffective 2017-10-22 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
[ she's a little unsteady on her feet in that way he might know her to get from time to time, if she's tired, but she settles down in the chair without much incident. what's a team bond

... but eventually she realizes. shit. she left her notebook on that side of the room. it's not like she wants them to lose, it's not like she doesn't want to help, but she doesn't know what will happen if she speaks. if she speaks to him. and he won't let her write...

so she pulls out another instead and just listens in on his intercom conversation ]

What of death? Will there be any maiming, torture, or other physical punishments? Psychological torture?
